Tour Of Merzouga For 5 Days

Day 1 : Marrakech - Telouet - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Boumalen Dades - Kelaat M'Gouna

Breakfast at your hotel , departure to Ouarzazate at 8:00 am passing by Ait Berka  where we start to climb the High Atlas chain. Short Stop at an Argan Oil Cooperative to purchase freshly made Argan Oil. Continuation to Ouarzazate while enjoying a Panoramic view of Tichka Road. A Stop at Telouet Kasbah :which is a Kasbah along the former route of the caravans from the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. The kasbah was the seat of the El Glaoui family’s power, thus sometimes also called the Palace of Glaoui. Its construction started in 1860 and it was further expanded in later years. Lunch at a local restaurant at Telouet Kasbah. Then Continuation to Ouarzazate , Arrival to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah a  historic ighrem or ksar along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh in Morocco. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Arrival at Ouarzazate to visit the Cinema Studio and we continue to Kasbah de Taourirt (The Kasbah de Taourirt was built in the 17th century by the tribe of Glaoui. It is famous for its antiquity) To have lunch, we will move to Kelaat M’Gouna (Kelaa M’Gouna is the gateway to the Valley of the Roses. The city is located between two rivers and two mountains).Afterwards, we keep going to Boumalne dades to have a nice dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Merzouga

After breakfast at your hotel in Boumalne Dades , departure to Merzouga at 8:00 am, passing Dades Gorge ( The Dades Gorge is a gorge located in the upper Dades Valley between the towns of Boumalne Dades and M’semrir in Morocco. It is a popular tourist destination ). Then, we continue to see the monkey’s feet / fingers (a fabulous stone arrangement that introduces itself like many long, smooth, entwined fingers ascending from the waterway. It required nature a long period of time to cut out the long stone sections, and it makes for a wonderful photograph stop as well as a pleasant spot to partake in a climb). Not a long way from the Dades Gorge and the Monkey Fingers/ Feet is the Todgha Gorge, a gully in the High Atlas Mountains that gives a staggeringly beautiful spot to walk and unwind. We went through around 30 minutes strolling along a little waterway, looking up at the tall, rough precipices. We even required a couple of moments to plunk down and dunk our feet into the virus steam, a lovely relief from the intensity. We will then continue our excursion in the desert of Merzouga. And we will have lunch in Tinjdad. On our road we will pass through many Berber villages & Erfoud, which will give us a feeling of the beginning of Sahara atmosphere. When we arrive in Merzouga, we will enjoy a camel ride and overnight in a bivouac with traditional music and a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Enkoub - Draa valley

After Breakfast , departure at 8:00 am you will have a Tour on 4×4 vehicule at Erg Chebbi which is led to the erg sometimes being referred to as “dunes of Merzouga.” Stop to visit the Nomad of Sahara. We will continue to Rissani to see the Bab al-Mansuriya door in Rissani – Morocco. A famous gate stands a few kilometers north of the ruins of the medieval city of Sidjilmāssa and the traditional market ( Located in the heart of the city of Rissani, the Souk takes place three times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The inhabitants come to exchange everything they need: fruits, vegetables, meat, dates, nuts, spices, but also donkeys, sheep, goats and handicrafts ). You will have lunch in Enkoub, then move to enjoy a panoramic view of Draa valley (Agdez). And overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Draa valley - Taznakht - Taliouine - Taroudant - Agadir

Breakfast at the hotel in agdez , then departure to Taznakht at 8:00 am. We will take a look at the carpet steps. And how the craftsmen produce it. Continuing on to Taliouin ( Taliouine is considered the African center of saffron: the “king of spices”, Continuations towards Taliouin (Taliouine is considered as the African center of the saffron: the “king of the spices”, according to the formula; the saffron of Taliouine is the only organic saffron of the African continent of higher quality and with the power coloring of 50% higher than that of the saffron of Iran. Enjoy lunche in a good restaurant. A short stop at Taroudant market to discover the subtlety of traditional Berber jewelry designs. From the simple silver bracelet to the old gold jewelry.  Follow continue our journey to Agadir to finish our day. Diner and overnight.

Day 5: Agadir - Essaouira - Marrakech

Breakfast at your hotel , departure to Essaouira at 8:00 am, we take some photos in Agadir Oflla. After we continue our road towards Essaouira and on the road we will take a coffee to rest a little and break the weariness. Enjoy lunch at Essaouira, After lunch you will see the ramparts of the Skala built by the Portuguese, as well as the Kasbah, the port and the market. Also, shop and stroll through the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its cafes and handicraft stores. On the road to Marrakech, visit an association of Berber women who produce argan oil. Arrival to Marrakech, your accommodation or transfer to the airport
