Tour of Marrakech to Fes For 3 Days
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dades
Breakfast at your hotel , departure to Ouarzazate passing by Ait Berka where we start to climb the High Atlas chain. Short Stop at an Argan Oil Cooperative to purchase freshly made Argan Oil. Continuation to Ouarzazate while enjoying a Panoramic view of Tichka Road. Another Stop at Telouet Kasbah :which is a Kasbah along the former route of the caravans from the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. Arrival to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou a historic ighrem or ksar along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh in Morocco. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.Stop for lunch at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Continuation on the road, a short stop to take pictures at Kasbah Taourirt.Arrival to The Kelaa Cooperative, buy some fresh products of the region. Continuation until you arrive at Boulmane Dades,Visit One of the most popular and visited sites is that of the Tamlalt’s cliffs, also called “fingers of monkeys” due to their formidable natural sculpture. Dinner and Overnight at Boulmane Dades .
Day 2: Boumalne Dades -Tinghir - Erfoud - Merzouga
Breakfast at your hotel, Departure to visit: a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dadès River in Morocco. The river originates in the High Atlas range of the Atlas mountains.
Continuation to Tinghir. Stop Todgha Gorges: a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains. Continue your journey until you reach Tinjdad: which is located in the province of Errachidia between the Grand Atlas and the Saharan Atlas. A stop for lunch in a local restaurant in Tinjdad. Continuation to Merzouga, passing by Malaab town.
Arrival to erfoud , switch to 4*4 vehicule to reach Merzouga. Enjoy camel riding while admiring a panoramic view of the sunset. Dinner and Overnight in Tents in Merzouga.
Day 3: Erfoud - Errachidia - Azrou - Fes
Early Breakfast at Merzouga, Departure at 8:00 AM back to Erfoud to continue your journey to reach Fes at the end of the day. A Stop at Ziz Valley which is a river in the south of Morocco, It has its source in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco. Take pictures of the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley and have a coffee in a local Coffee Shop. Continuation until you get to Errachidia, Arrival to Midelt town which sits in apple country between the Middle and the High Atlas and makes a handy break between Fez and the desert. You will Have your lunch at Midelt. Continuing the trip until you get to The monkeys and the fragrant trails of the cedar forests are what attract visitors to go to Azrou, but the town itself is an utterly quiet and relaxing place in which to unwind if you’re feeling exhausted after too many big cities. Departure to Ifrane , a short stop to enjoy a coffee in the Switzerland of Morocco. Continue the road until you reach Fes , Dinner and Overnight.
